REIGNITE YOUR WRITING AND RUNNING MOJO
As a writer and a runner, we know you travel. A lot. Or at least you'd like to travel more than you do. You might travel to run a couple of (overnight) races a year and attend a couple writing conferences or retreats a year. Wouldn't it be great if you could do both in the same trip? Now you can!
The goal of the Writers Who Run Retreat is to bring together like-minded individuals in regards to two seemingly different passions: writing and running. Yet, we know there's more to it than that. Through networking, you'll be inspired to keep writing and running even when you're not hanging out with each other.
The retreat begins with a dinner and an inspirational welcome speech. You'll enjoy 7 days and 6 nights packed with a morning 2-mile run, breakfast, two hands-on writing workshops, lunch, one-to-one critique sessions, personal writing time, dinner, and a fun social event each evening.
The culminating event is participation in Saturday morning's 5k & 10k Race For Literacy (included with retreat registration).
THE WRITERS WHO RUN 5K & 10K RACE FOR LITERACY IS ALSO OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Learn more about the race here!
Register by March 30th, 2023 to get your manuscript critiqued by a faculty member.
