If you struggle to have enough time and money to do the things you love like attend races and writing workshops then this is THE event for you. Make one trip instead of two and do both things at once! Each day is packed with inspiration just for you.

RUNNING: Morning runs of 2-3 miles, depending on speed/pace. Yes, you can WALK them. There is a waterfall about 2.2 miles away. If you want to run there one morning (with a buddy) it would make a great 4.5 mile option one day.

FACULTY: There will be four faculty members to teach you all kinds of awesome writing skills spread out over 8 different workshops.
WORKSHOPS: A total of eight hands-on workshops to teach you things like the basics of novel structure, the business of writing, social media savvy, and writing craft so you can finally finish the novel you're currently working on - or revise it to submission-ready status.
AGENDA/ITINERARY: Our days will be filled with workshops, runs, mealtimes, and social events like journal making, movies, a walk to town, morning runs, a pre-race kickoff party and costume contest, and more! Critique sessions are included for your first 2,000 words (or if you prefer to send in 2,000 words from chapter three or four, feel free to do so). There is also 2 hours of FREE WRITING TIME built in to each day.
COSTUME CONTEST: The costume contest is part of the Dinner Party on Friday night. It's meant to be a light and fun time. If you don't like dressing up, come as you are! You may be a famous author one day, right?!
LODGING: Accommodations are made with The Dillard House in Dillard, GA. All rooms are on the ground level and come equipped with a mini-fridge and two rocking chairs on the outdoor patio.
SHUTTLE: Shuttle service is included from the Atlanta (ATL) Airport, just 2 hours away from Dillard, GA. Pickup on Monday, June 17 at 3:00 PM and will return to ATL on Saturday, June 22 by 2:30 PM.
FOOD: Three meals a day, with a delectable dessert after dinner. Thursday is an adventurous dinner-on-your-own night so you can experience the quaint town of Dillard, GA.
